Absolutely beautiful. Lots of terrain for the children to run off their energy and enjoy nature. They'll also love the playscape. Real nice tall slides and numerous other obstacles to keep them busy. What's really beautiful about Wagner park is the trillions of leaves scattered about during the fall, especially the colors throughout. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Nice for kids. Nice for disc golf players. Not very good place for dogs to roam free. Only certain areas are dogs allowed to be off leash. Not well marked the areas that are allowed. I walked around the whole block looking for this dog run! No bathrooms was horrible as I traveled an hour just to see one of the 10 best supposedly dog parks in Michigan.

I like this park better than Red Run Park in the area. It's got a lot of trees and two play grounds. Plenty of room to run around and play for all ages. And it seems like more people come to this park. There are slides, a sandbox, tunnels, and activities to do here. I would be careful of the very steep slide on one of the play areas – besides being very scary, it launches little kids out a short end after they hit a bump inside the tunnel. (I think they should rebuild this part, personally). And there are no fences keeping kids from running into the road.

Wagner park is a beautiful, well-cared for park just inside Royal Oak and hosts a playground as well as an 18 hole public disc golf course. I visit primarily for the disc golf and find it to be the most interesting public course in the area. Just last year, brand new baskets were put in. There are in my mind, only 2 detractors. First, holes 9 and 18 come very close to Rochester Rd and errant shots can be nerve-wracking for players and drivers alike. Second, the teepads are very short and more often than not, you'll see folks driving from off to the side to get more space. Still, Wagner is beautiful, with some elevation change shots. You can see deer, rabbit, and the occasional hawk during a round. Definitely worth the visit.

Crazy high slide! My 3 year old son loved it! The play area and the disc golf facility is well maintained.
